Team Lead- Loughborough/Hybrid- £50k
I have an amazing opportunity for a Team Lead to join one of my clients in Loughborough (Hybrid 3 days working from home.) My client are specialists in the transport, infrastructure, sustainability, and energy industry and are looking for a team lead to be based within the technical innovation team.
Responsibilities:
· Leading a small but growing team of technical experts, including managing, developing and coaching staff
· Planning and managing resources as the team input to a portfolio of R&D and consultancy projects
· Project management of a portfolio of research and consultancy projects or work packages
· Acting as a technical lead on proposal development for new work, engaging other members of the team where needed
· Leading and contributing written content and technical analysis for the preparation of reports
Experience:
· Existing experience in energy and/or transport, or with excellent transferable technical experience
· Project working experience
· Interest in transport, energy and environmental technologies and policy
· Technically minded with good background and willingness to learn about energy, electrical and mechanical systems
· Quick to learn and comfortable working across a range of different technology areas (Hydrogen fuel cells and EV charging)
· STEM Degree
· Strong IT skills- Excel in particular
